Hindustan Unilever won four coveted awards at the Spikes Asia Awards 2012 held on 18 September 2012 in Singapore. The awards won by HULincluded one Grand Prix, one Gold Spike and two Silver Spikes, making it the best ever haul of awards at Spikes Asia for the company.

Clinic Plus e Lifebuoy aparecem entre as 10 primeiras, e outras sete (Fair & Lovely, Rin, Surf Excel, Lux, Pepsodent, Closeup, Pond’s) estão no top 20. Ao todo, são 18 marcas HUL entre as 100 mais confiadas nessa pesquisa. Essa classificação foi anunciada em uma premiação realizada no dia 06 de novembro, em Mumbai.
As marcas mais confiadas da HUL na lista das top 100 (classificações entre parênteses) são: Clinic Plus (4), Lifebuoy (10), Fair & Lovely (11), Rin (12), Surf Excel (13), Lux (14), Pepsodent (17), Closeup (19), Pond’s (20), Sunsilk (26), Dove (37), Vim (43), Pears (79), Lakme (81), Vaseline (86), Wheel (87), Hamam (95) e Rexona (96).
As marcas HUL constantemente se destacam na lista das mais confiadas na Índia. Realizada por Nielsen, essa pesquisa é a maior do país, com uma amostragem de 8.160 entrevistados de todas as classes socioeconômicas, etárias e geográficas.
HUL has forayed into the liquid blues category recently with Rin Perfect Shine Neel.
